On this site I'll include everything I know about my favorite team. I'll try and keep you up to date on your favorite players. I'll add a lot of pics throughout my pages on players, coaches, and anything to do with Kentucky Basketball. If you have any ideas, please let me know by e-mailing me with your suggestions.

I have been a wildcat fan for as long as I can remember. College Basketball is probably my favorite sport above all the rest. I learned a long time ago, while sitting with a group full of people at mom and dad's house, that it was not wise to speak during a Kentucky Ballgame. I also learned long ago that if and when Kentucky did happen to lose a game that it was always the referee's fault. The farthest back I can remember is when Kentucky had the twin towers in Sam Bowie and Mel Turpin. I also remember one game a long time ago that cost us a trip to the final four which was against Georgetown University. We were up 13 points at halftime and then in the second half only shot like 18% or something like that. I knew it was horrid. Not real sure about the percentage, but those of you that are wildcat fans, I am sure you remember this one.

I also have some favorite players throughout the years. Here is some of my favorite players from the different teams that I only remember watching. Here would be my starting five from all of those players. Center: Sam Bowie, Forward: Ron Mercer, Strong Forward: Kenny Walker, Shooting Guard: Rex Chapman, and Point Guard: Travis Ford. Well if we have the best I too have the worst. These are the starting five of the players that you were glad to see Graduate. Center: Rob Lock, Forwards: Andree Riddick (which usually played center, but was really a forword.) Amino Timberlake, and Guards: Dirk Minnifield and Roger Harden.

Well I think the upcoming 2000-2001 year is going to be better than the last, and we should have an up tempo and exciting team. Although Tubby Smith is on a trend of losing about two players a year because of something, We should be ok. Did run into some off season troubles and lost Desmond Allison and Michael Southall, we do still have Estill and Hawkins that should make an immediate impact.

Thanks for taking a look at my site. Be sure to sign my GuestBook below or send me a private e-mail with your thoughts and suggestions. I'll be updating frequently, please check back often.

MIDNITE MADNESS WAS A SLAMMIN GOOD TIME!!!!
Midnite Madness was a terrific success. With a survivor series theme, each player took turns who they don't think will survive this year on the way to Minneapolis. Some of the teams that were voted off were: Duke (of course), North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, South Carolina, and the best one was when the equipment manager said "There are three things that I hate. Dirty uniforms, smelly socks, and the Louisville Cardinals." After all there really can be room for only one Kentucky Team. After all the votes were in the team began their practice with some explosive dunks. Some of the better dunks were done by all the Freshman. Parker, Fitch, and a windmill dunk by Hawkins brought the house down. Kentucky's team looks fast, big and will be very physical which should open up the outside shooting by Saul Smith, J.P. Blevins and by Hawkins. Should be an exciting year and Kentucky should be a force to be dealt with when the Madness starts.

Parker will make an immediate impact for the wildcat team this season with the departure of Camara this season. Parker first heading to North Carolina had some tough time with the entrance exam. Even after passing the test, North Carolina declined to bring him on. Kentucky then called and now we are on a collision course with North Carolina on Dec 2. Parker is 6'8" and will probably center and Strong Forward.
